Focus Area: Picking up litter along Harbor Cove Beach in Ventura, CA

Event Itinerary: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm PST 

• 9:00 am - 9:30 am: Arrive, sign in, and pick up your cleanup supplies (gloves, bags, etc.). Meet fellow volunteers and enjoy some light refreshments.

• 9:30 am - 9:45 am: Brief introduction about the event’s goals and the importance of our Earth Day cleanup. Safety guidelines and instructions on how to properly clean up and dispose of waste.

• 9:45 am - 11:45 am: Head out to designated areas (groups may be assigned different zones). Pick up litter, recycle where possible, and help beautify Ventura!

• 11:45 am - 12:00 pm: Return to the meeting point with your collected waste. Weigh trash, group photo to celebrate our efforts and make memories! Thank you speech and distribution of any thank-you gifts or certificates.
