Focus Area: Picking up litter along Panorama Park in Bakersfield, CA

Event Itinerary: 5:00 pm - 7:20 pm PST 

• 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm: Arrive, sign in, and pick up your cleanup supplies (gloves, bags, etc.). Meet fellow volunteers and enjoy some light refreshments.

• 5:30 pm - 5:45 pm: Brief introduction about the event’s goals and the importance of our Earth Day cleanup. Safety guidelines and instructions on how to properly clean up and dispose of waste.

• 5:45 pm - 7:00 pm: Head out to designated areas (groups may be assigned different zones). Pick up litter, recycle where possible, and help beautify Ventura!

• 7:00 pm - 7:20 pm: Return to the meeting point with your collected waste. Weigh trash, group photo to celebrate our efforts and make memories! Thank you speech and distribution of any thank-you gifts or certificates.
